Snow showers fell across portions of the central peninsula during the Tuesday evening-Wednesday morning November 21-22,2006 period, including the Orlando Metro area. This is the earliest ever observed and reported snow event in the state since European settlers first arrived.
Minimum temperatures dipped below 32 deg. in portions of the panhandle NW region and also south central peninsula region. The cold spot was at Archbold with 28 deg. on the south central peninsula. Florida Daily Weather Discussion: http://www.kn4lf.com/flwx1.htm |

Quite amazing, FL. Especially for this early in the season. El Nino years are usually wacky ones.
