Default Early winter ahead 2007/08

The Pacific Northwest has been showing signs of an early winter for the last month. Four weeks ago I walked out into my garden at 6.00 am and found ICE all over the leaves of my tomato plants. Several times this last week over the course of several consequtive days there was both ice on the windshield and in the garden. We usually do not get any frost until the first full moon of October at least in my garden, but it came early last year as well and I got frost in the first full moon of September. This time it came in at the end of July. Wondering if this is a particular trend due to previous planetary alignments that have per chance pulled us slightly out of our normal orbit around the sun, as we appear to be entering our seasons slightly faster than normal.
