Default Big Snow Storm on the way

After the Epic Ice storm that pesky upper level system that has spit out all these wave is going to send out the mother load.

The Last wave will send the cold air east snow 4-8 inches Pa, NJ and NY tonight.

Major snow storm begins Friday

Will give my take on this, this afternoon.

.
Round 5 is moving into Arkansas with heavy rain. Light snow in NE Ok, S. Mo. On North edge of precipitation shield changes to freezing rain in central MO. ¼ inch of new ice. Mains storm moves along old front of the coast of NJ Tomorrow Mod to locally heavy snow Pa, NY and southern New England.

Main energy of this storm moves into Colorado Friday. Snow and wind into Kansas. The exact path speed and intensity beyond Friday is unknown at this time. The end result should be Nor Easter on east coast lat Saturday and early Sunday.

they say snow is heading to us here on Cape Cod

I'll believe it when I see it, usually we get rain/mix of snow/sleet.

Cap Cod

Quick burst of heavy snow today. Still may mix with sleet, but mostly snow. 3-6 inches

You are right on. Snow to start. Mix, then rain and then snow on the back for the weekend storm. still another 4-6 inches possible depending on track

Winds to 50 MPH

Dyndrite, I moved most of your recent threads into the Storm Center since they mostly fall into this category.

Looks like the forecast changed a little bit regarding todays storm. More of a mixed bag for most of NJ and PA. More snow for extreme northern areas though. Parts of new york state have heavy snow warnings in place.

Regardless of today's storm. The big one will be this weekend on the east coast.
It could be a monster if the tropical remains of Olga get entrained.

This is true, Mixed bag to rain NYC and NJ. Heavy snow now occurring Northern Pa ,NY state heading into Mass, Conn.

Have not heard from a lot of people here. Just Traci in Iowa, “Hey Traci.” I was about to lose my heart.

Oh yes a lot of people have not talked about the tropical influence of the Nor’ Easter. Yes indeed. The ridge in the Desert SE, yes I said desert SE, must break down. Nature has a little tropical heat valve to do this. Let the fun begin

In Nc we feel the SW flow. The storm is forming. Cape Hatteras should have storm warnings.
