The models continue to be in near universal agreement in closing off a 500 mb low over the Labor Day holiday weekend, first from the Northern Plains and then into the Upper Mississippi Valley. Although it does not appear to be especially cool, with 850 mb temperatures running about +9 C, it is kind of unusual for this time of the year. This corresponds to a significant low moving across Northern Canada. Starting to change the season in looks like.

hence the name...
I am just NOT READY for it to be fall yet... I haven't nearly appreciated all my flowers this year. I haven't made it up to my cottage as many times as I would have liked.. darn it. I'm just not ready ! I hope this doesn't mean an early WINTER TOO.. cause for as much as I love winter.. I'm CERTAINLY not ready for it anytime soon !.. ......... maybe later today..i'll go pull out the snowblower & make sure it starts up ok. |
