you first need to download the browser plug in...(lizardtech) to be able to open the maps.. but then a little bit further down on the page you can open wx maps dating back to 1871 .. this is really cool ! Try pulling up a map on just a random date... like July 19, 1900. or get the one for the day you were born.... I've spent many hours here, looking at the maps that were at the time the Edmund Fitzgerald went down & different blizzards I lived thru as a child... it's fascinating (if this has already been posted,, feel free to delete) Last edited by luvwinterwx; 09-09-2006 at 11:48 AM. |
