These forums need a little spice! I love the format and many of the topics, but no one replies to them! It seems so dead in here! This has to be changed asap! Well here's something stupid and extremely crazy to hopefully get you laughing a little...or a lot! Enjoy...

(Reminder: This is from the viewpoint of someone who thinks midlatitude cyclones rock more than tropical weather)

Official Technical Weather Definitions...

Hurricanes - Cyclones that need to stay over water to survive!

Cold Fronts - What hurricanes get jealous of

Blizzard - windy, wet, destructive AND cold!

Snow - Keeps you off the roads, makes it colder and melts in the spring to flood you!

Ice - What looks weak to tropical weather but can kill your trees and power lines!

Global Warming - Energy to feed off of!

White Hurricane - Just like a hurricane, only worse because it was cold and snowy!

Gales of November - The gales that blow over the Great Lakes in November and destroy ships

November Witch - You'll die! Enough said!

Hail - The hard balls of ice that are attracted to roofs and cars

Humidity - The stuff that turns into downpours

Al Gore - A perfect lightning target

Hurricane Andrew - Just a bunch of hot air

Warm Front - Taking the hurricanes' heat and moving it north!

Trees - Tools for causing power outages

Cows - The creatures transported from farm to farm in tornados to see if the farmers notice

Floods Definition #1 - When rivers and lakes get scared of the rain and decide to move in with you

Floods Definition #2 - When roads get jealous of swimming pools

Floods Definition #3 - When cars get tired of being on the ground, so they turn themselves into boats

Freezing Rain - The quickest and easiest way to turn a parking lot into a skating rink

Salt - The substance that gets the ice off roads so you can drive on them, but turns it's back on you by getting on your windshield and blinding you!

Dew Point - Quantity measurement of what's in stock for supper!

Subzero Temperatures - The time at which you don't need a storm to be severe

Wind Chill - The one thing that hurricane winds don't have!

LOL One day a farmer wakes up, looks at his cows and notices he has the same number, but one looks different. He calls the farmer next door and that farmer says the same thing. They both know a tornado went through there the other day. They go to look at each other's cows and sure enough - they got switched!

lol thanks...I wrote those a few weeks ago just for the hail of it so I decided to write em in here. Here are some sayings...

*What the hail? = What the hell?
*Oh flood! = Oh crud!
*Snow way! = No way!
*What's updraft? = What's up?
*Holy tornado! = Holy talido!
