4-panel chart of 200mb Wind, Ht, 500mb Vort, Ht, MSLP 1000 - 500mb, 850mb Temp, Ht 12z GFS is showing a strong storm system tracking up the Midwest with heavy deformation band snows across the Dokata's and into MN. This is a beautiful set-up for blizzard conditions across these areas. Maybe a foot or more? Will see but it's certaintly quite possible and alot of wind will be involved. Looks like a major rain-event across the Lakes.
