12Z NAM has the Hatteras low clobbering New England coast with up to15 inches of snow. Rain Eastern NC and Va. Rain changing to snow mountains of NC and Va.

The upper level trof will sit over the great Lakes and produce Snow squalls next 72-96 hrs, yes I said 72-96 hrs. Hope you aint close to the shore Steve.

12Z NAM has second storm deep in the southern gulf in 72 hrs. This will be a moist storm. If it develops early next week could produce Tornado outbreak in Florida Tuesday late of late Wednesday. 06Z GFS had this storm further south and colder. Ice and snow Atlanta, North and East.

Storm for Wednesday and Thursday still in all Models. The only thing is timing and the storm actually forming. We should see this several days in advance and not get burnt.

Bottom -line Low moves along northern gulf over southern Georgia and off the coast then North. Areas of Northern Ga. Up-state South Carolina and Western North Carolina could be looking at snow changing to Ice or RAIN. Could be a band of snow OK, Arkansas and Tennessee. Got to learn the lessons of the big boys, LOL.
