That was a strange storm indeed. Totals in my area, 1 inch on the ground. About 2 inches fell but it did not all lay.

Waiting for the visible satellite data this morning to see what happened first hand

Satellite data suggest the greatest snowfall was just NW of Atlanta and in Central Piedmont of NC. I see nothing on the ground in the warning areas. What a year. I guess if it don’t snow for a few years you get out of practice. Shake it off guys, long way to go.

Default Southern Storm 2

yes sir very strange indeed; here in upstate SC no accumulation at all; never really got moderate snow; mainly just light snow in the afternnon

dyndrite,
noticing a trend here that I havnt seen for a long time; more low pressures now forming in the gulf than we have seen in past winters, kind of like the old days! models seem to keep the southern sream active

Yes this year has featured the return of the Gulf of Mexico Low. Next week will be hard to forecast. There will be a storm move on the coast of California next week and then the subtropical jet gets active. The models are bouncing all over the place. Except for a light glaze, Tuesday Am, we make can get some rest till next weekend.
