Moderate Snow developing Eastern Kentucky. And Southwestern Va. Snow developing NE Virginia. Snow developing in Central Pa, Northern NJ and NYC.

Snow showers should develop Eastern Tennessee, Northern Alabama, Northern Ga. Satellite data shows Convection with solar radiation.

Last short wave on sub-tropical jet, along Alabama/Ga. border moving NE. Surface Low over NE North Carolina with trof to lee side of mountains. 500 MB vorticity max moving into eastern Kentucky

How much convection in that warm January sunshine? That’s the question.

3 miles in light snow in Nashville with Artic frontal passage. Expect enhancement of up-slope snow in the Tenn./NC. Mountains. Will bump snow to 2-4 inches and 4-6 inches Virginia and Wva.

Snow advisories are now being issued for Eastern Kentucky and NW North Carolina Mountains. Things just happen in the weather world. Lets watch the warnings light up the map.

I found the Tom T hall song on U tube. It acts sort of wird so let it down load. A second song about the little lady preacher is on there as well. Good stuff, listen. Good old weatherman music.
