Up-date

60 degree dew points moving North into Louisiana. Strong Cold front and dry line moving in from Texas.

Severe Thunderstorms, Tornados are now a threat from Louisiana. Southern Mississippi and SW Alabama and the panhandle of Florida.

Cold air aloft is about to collide with Gulf moisture. Stay alert for Warnings from the National weather Service and Storms Forecast Center in Norman Oklahoma

This is becoming a dangerous situation in this area.

Up-date

Looks like Easterly flow has tapped Great Lake moisture. Snow is falling in Chicago. This could be an important development if it backs to NE as it should .

Stay tuned. Computers have been wrong before.

Up-date

Temps 3-5 degrees below progs in NW piedmont of NC and Upstate SC. Clear area should pass overhead at sunset.

Expect mention of freezing rain and sleet in forecast tonight. This should not be a big deal unless high pressure remains anchored over New England as in current trend. Areas in the foothills of North Carolina and the western Piedmont of Virginia show stay abreast of local forecast and potential Winter storm.

Up-date.

Mid and lower levels of storm are coming together in NE Texas. As the big boys might say it is going to be an occlusion. Triple point will move NE to SW North Carolina.

Snow will start in my other home town of Rantoul in the next hour. Heavy snow will develop in this area and Western Indiana over the next 12 hours

Moderate Snow is still Falling in Central Oklahoma. Im not one to say I can see a Major Winter storm Form 3 or 5 days out, Yea I can
