Let's see, GFS at 18Z had temps in SW South Dakota at 20-25. Observations say 9. Dang, better luck next time.
NAM was 20. That’s more better. Lets stay with NAM. The reason I mention this is because SW extension of Artic air has to be overcome with warm air advection for next Storm. Bottom line. Some Storms get colder and some get warmer. This one is getting Colder. Models most comply. Dyndryite |

You guys know I can get musical some time. This Is A Great Lakes Storm. Winds of 30-40 are 50-60 gust to 70 on the water in squalls.

I will put this post up as the Mid level dynamics cause a lag of the Artic front. I know Brother, I seen it before.
