Default Midwest Storm 37

Looks like the pivot point is Iowa this winter. No mater the swing storms from the SW or NW are clobbering this area.

Spring type storm heading South East. Heavy Snow developing Nebraska then Iowa Northern MO., Ill and southern Wisconsin. Storm, moves East with Heavy snow Northern Indiana and Ohio. Then NY State.

This storm will also produce Southern and Central Appalachian Snow with 4-6 inches of Snow in the high country of NC, Va. With temps in the low teens.

Severe weather threat is also possible in the south East as cold front swings through tomorrow.

Not much break as Clipper moves SE on Thursday with snow and more cold.

We are entering the most dynamic time of the year. More sun eguals more energy. The way this winter has been, look out.

Light to moderate snow in NW Iowa.

Freezing rain has changed to rain in southern Iowa. Light snow south of Chicago as warm air heads NE.

Great storm. Surface low northeast Kansas. Mid level low in SE Iowa. Thangs are starting to crank up. Precip types next hour will tell the tell.

This looks like a southern storm. Lots of warm air above freezing in advance.

Precip rates are determining types. Moderate snow in NE Iowa. Low pressure moving SE in northern MO.. This is going to be a big one.

Big storms can generate their own cold air.

with the cold air really digging in behind this storm creating an eastern trough; any chances anything could develop for us in the south while we do have some cold air around.

This storm is the process off cold air moving SE. The pattern has been Cold and warm.

The models have had a hard time keeping up. Joe was talking about a deep trof on the east coast. This is part of the process.

How deep will the cold air go? How will the storms develope. The truth is after 96 hours things get fuzzy.

What we know is colder in the east. The rest we will see.

The truth is the weather averages out. A 2-4 degrees above average gets on the news. The East coast has been above for a long time.

Lot of cold air heading down the east coast or we got to have the greatest average in history.

Yea man. I love this crap. Averages is cool. Those models got to say yea this spring.
