Does anyone know how to find past weather histories for free online?

I wish I did. I think it is a personal thing. Maybe someone else cold say. The climatology center in Ashville NC could be a source but I have no Idea how to crack that nut. I gota lot of stuff there. An old surface observer in Norfolk with Joe from accuweather on the radio.

But that was a long time ago

You can try this query " history" + weather and you'll have all th links for weather history..
