Default How much of a torch are we looking at for Easter?

The GFS has been remarkably consistent in showing the SE Ridge entrenching itself off of the coast in the latter portions of this week and this weekend.

I had speculated some time back elsewhere that April will see our first 80 in the northern Mid-Atlantic (NYC, PHL) and that there is a shot at going warmer than that between the 15th and 19th, depending on the strength of the upcoming ridge of high pressure.

Of course, there always is the risk of back-door fronts slipping down from the NE to screw around with the warmth but the signals for a good warm up are there.

Easter could be quite warm for us in the Mid-Atlantic!!!
