Finally the last of Southern New England will freeze tonight. Most already has reached 32F, but some of the warmer spots, such as Boston has not yet...until tonight. Here's a great look at the regions temperatures: http://www.pdfamily.com/weather/mesomap.htm

Some of the data is from personal stations and some send bad data. I block known offenders that frequently send bad data and old data gets filtered out after 90 minutes, but I cant get them all. All in all though I find the map very helpful in seeing the overall view of the region.I also maintain a similiar map of wind gusts as well: http://www.pdfamily.com/weather/mesowind.htm , although its a lot of zeros in the region tonight. |
